With over 17 years of strategic human resource experience, Cheryl has created employer of choice programs for a variety of established and start-up organizations in the financial, technology, and non-profit sectors. As HR Director for BC Children’s Hospital Foundation (BCCHF), Cheryl transformed the HR function from start-up to an engaged culture that resulted in being awarded a Top 55 Employer in BC and Progressive Employer awards.

Results oriented, inspiring, compassionate executive coach

Cheryl has coached a variety of executive, middle management and emerging leaders. She implemented an organizational coach approach at BCCHF through training leaders and employees key elements of coaching, which resulted in improved communications and enhanced problem-solving capacity.

Certified in coaching, human resources, and assessment tools

Cheryl is a certified executive coach from Royal Roads University and a certified human resources professional, who was a 2010 HR Professional of the Year finalist with BCHRMA. Cheryl specializes in Emotional Intelligence and ASSESS, behavioral assessment and trait based leadership and talent management tools. Cheryl is a licensed trainer for Coaching Out of the Box, an innovative one-day course that teaches participants the key concepts and benefits of coaching.

Community oriented

Cheryl is on the Board of Directors of the International Coach Federation, Vancouver Chapter, where she holds the role of Communications Chair. She is also a mentor to emerging coaches at Royal Roads University.
