Refining Leadership Results

Who do you want to become as a leader?

“Natalie has been a trusted and valued advisor. She is caring and current. I have always appreciated her insights and she is motivating to be around.” Eric Pringle, VP, Operations, Hemmera

Our Refining Leadership Results program is for you if you are serious about your career and being a more effective leader.  By participating in this coaching program you will be crystal clear about how you help and hinder your own success, and you will know where you need to personally stretch yourself to be more effective.  You will also be held accountable for change by your coach, and organization.

As part of this program we guide you through a process of self discovery which includes talking to influential people in your business about what you need to improve upon if you want to progress.  By seeking out advice from individuals you respect you will have new insights that inform the coaching, and your career.  Clients tell us that this input is a gift, although it can be temporarily painful to hear about personal blind spots.

Once you have a good sense of what you need to do to be more effective the coaching focuses on making it happen.  The coaching follows a structured, yet organic, process where we apply principles of adult learning to your own growth and personal exploration. This includes looking at different leadership situations and uncovering where your beliefs may be outdated, discovering opportunities for improvement, and expanding your thinking about the people you work with, and the situations you find yourself in.  The best coaching happens when you are stretching yourself and facing greater complexity and challenge, and you need new ways of seeing situations and operating to be successful.

All of our coaching engagements follow what is called an evidence based approach.  This means that the coaching methodologies we use are backed by research.  When appropriate we will present you with different organizational and leadership models to frame situations and broaden your understanding, and we also have studied the linkages between adult development and leadership capability.  Ultimately, the research shows that you will be more effective as a leader when you work on your own social and emotional health, and improve the complexity of your thinking.
