Refining Leadership Results is a custom coaching program.  It is for you if you are happy in your current role, and you want to refine your leadership style, or prepare for the next level of leadership.

The coaching starts with learning about your business and industry; we gather information about what you must accomplish, and other people’s perceptions about your effectiveness.  With this information, we evaluate how you need to operate within your current work environment if you want to take your career to the next level, and we consider the interplay between you, your key relationships, and your culture.

Based on this, we pick one or two target areas for the coaching and we define up front how we will measure and report back on results.

Once we have identified the target areas, we focus on changing your behaviour in the context of your organization.  To do this, we examine old habits of action and thought, and we replace them with new ones that lead to more positive outcomes.   We also introduce best pratice leadership tools which you can apply to situations that you encounter, as you practice the new behaviours.

Although certain elements of the coaching are predictable, the reality is that behaviour change and corporations are messy. Most of the work focuses on situations which are complicated and ambiguous. Sample coaching topics include how to refine your leadership style, how to build an effective work team, and how to overcome personal challenges like perfectionism, wanting approval, and emotional triggers.  Expected results include better business performance, greater confidence, changed behaviour in the target areas, improved credibility, and career advancement.
